It's A Dog's Life is a doggie daycare and boarding facility located in the heart of Eagle River.  Our mission is to provide dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds a safe and fun environment to play in, while providing their people with the security of knowing their dogs are in good hands while they are away. 

The staff at It's A Dog's Life go to great lengths to provide a stimulating and fun environment for all the dogs that attend our facility by providing a trained and professional staff to monitor and interact with every dog in attendance, as well as providing a mentally and physically stimulating facility with indoor and outdoor play areas, play equipment, toys, and most important- other dogs to play with!   

It is our most sincere goal to make sure that your dog is happy and safe while he/she is here, and that you are satisfied with the services that we provide.  Every dog that leaves our facility should go home happy, tired, and wanting to come back.  

We encourage anyone considering enrolling their dog in our daycare, to tour our facility and meet our staff and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Directions: Coming from Anchorage take the North Eagle River exit.  This will turn into the Old Glenn Hwy.  Stay on the Old Glenn Hwy. and continue on through three stop lights.  We are located on the left side of the road and our green sign and a yellow Midas sign is visable from the street.  

OUR HISTORY:

It's A Dog's Life opened in March of 2007 and is owned and operated by Michele Poole.  Although Michele lives in Anchorage, she saw the need for a facility of this kind in Eagle River and decided to pursue her dream of owning her own business after the birth of her daughter in June 2006.  It's A Dog's Life is licensed with the State of Alaska and recommended by all the area Veterinarians who recognize the quality service we provide.
